My alarm is not making noise.

Open the alarm box and locate the enable switch in the upper right corner of the circuit board. If the switch is to the left it is enabled, if the switch is to the right the alarm is disabled.
Locate the enable switch in the upper right corner of the circuit board. Move the switch to the left/enabled position.
The battery is located in the bottom of the alarm box. It spans the whole bottom of the box and is held in by a metal bracket. A bad battery can pull just enough power to make siren not sound or sound lightly.
Connect the black and red wires you disconnected from the battery directly to the siren. Black to black and red to red.

If your alarm has no LED lights and no flashing "0" then the unit is not getting power from the power supply.

Locate where the unit is plugged in and make sure:

  1. The outlet is working (plug something else in to the outlet, check breakers and GFI).
  2. The power supply is working.
  3. The wire to the unit has not been cut.
  4. The wires to the unit are hooked to the 1st and 2nd wire harness screws on the left.

The alarm is turned off on the inside. Open the alarm box and locate the enable switch in the upper right corner of the circuit board. Move the switch to the left/enabled position.

The siren should never sound if you have a green light. If the siren does sound when you have a green light call tech support at 800-45-ALARM.

You need a new battery.

You need a new siren.

You may potentialy need a new circut board but that can not be tested until a new siren is installed.

You need a new circuit board.
